Last week when I told you to sing, I wasn’t kidding. I wasn’t just making a good suggestion. I was giving you a supernatural strategy.
So many times, my kids want Me to tell them to do something practical, to give them something that makes sense. But My ways aren’t practical. My advice isn’t rational. My ways are higher than that. My thoughts are higher than that.
My ways are upside down from the ways of the world. In My kingdom, the way up is down.
When you lose your life, you find it. When you humble yourself, I exalt you. When you become like a little child, you grow up. And when you give your last, it multiplies and overflows into abundance. What seems counterintuitive to the natural mind is actually brilliant to the mind of the Spirit.
So obey Me, My child and sing! Sing! Sing! Sing!
As you sing chains will be broken. Prison doors will swing open. And, you will be delivered. It’s just as simple as that. Remember when Paul and Silas sang at midnight in prison? Remember what happened in the book of Acts?
“Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose!” – Acts 16:16
The songs you sing, are not just for you. They are for everyone around you.
I know it doesn’t make sense to sing when it looks as though there’s no way out. But, take My word for it child. Don’t judge what’s about to take place in your life through the lens of what’s reasonable.
Just open your mouth and sing. Magnify Me. Magnify My glory. Magnify My power.
As you do, you will see the very glory and power you are magnifying manifest. You will see Me, and experience Me, and everyone around you will know – it was Me who turned the tide and set you free!
